In a public vote to select the winner out of four nominees for the Lifetime Achievement Award for Cosmetic Science of which Johann Wiechers was one, 1800 votes were cast. The winner was Dr. Alain Khaiat from Seers Consulting, based in Singapore. Congratulations to Alain!
Johann would like to thank all the people that have voted for him and that have sent tokens of appreciation of his cosmetic work. As he is significantly younger than the other candidates, he looks forward to continuing his cosmetic research, knowing that his work is globally appreciated by so many of you.
